LINNEA and Newfields Celebrate Art in Bloom 2026 in Indianapolis

Spring arrives in full expression at Newfields, and this year, LINNEA is honored to be part of it.

As the presenting sponsor of Art in Bloom 2026, LINNEA joins Newfields for one of Indianapolis’ most anticipated spring events, where art and florals meet in a vivid, immersive celebration. For four days, guests can experience the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields in bloom, with more than 50 floral installations created in response to works in the IMA Galleries.

Art in Bloom is a tradition that invites visitors to see art differently. Paintings, sculpture, and gallery spaces become points of departure for floral designers, whose arrangements translate color, composition, mood, and movement into living form. The result is a museum experience that feels fleeting, transportive, and entirely of the season.

At LINNEA, that intersection of atmosphere, memory, and beauty is deeply resonant. Scent, like flowers, has the power to shift a room and change the way we feel inside it. Supporting an event that celebrates art through the language of nature feels both instinctive and meaningful.

“Newfields has a special way of making art feel alive, and Art in Bloom magnifies that through flowers, color, and shared experience. For LINNEA, supporting this is about community, creativity, and creating immersive experiences you can truly step into.” Laura Cler, Co-Founder and CEO

This year’s Art in Bloom returns for its sixth year at Newfields and includes a full program of experiences beyond the gallery installations. Guests can explore Books in Bloom, featuring paper flower arrangements inspired by volumes in the Stout Reference Library, and visit the Art in Bloom Market, where festivities include flower crown making, a pop-up bar, live orchids for sale, and spring merchandise from the Museum & Garden Shop.

The weekend also includes a range of special experiences designed to deepen the event:

Art You Can Arrange with Flower Boys  Thursday, March 18

Visitors can begin with a guided gallery experience and then create a centerpiece to take home, extending the inspiration of Art in Bloom beyond the museum walls.

A standout moment of this year’s event is the featured work of Tabia Yapp, the 2026 Center Piece Designer, whose floral practice is known for its sculptural use of space, form, and personality.

Fête of Florals  Friday, March 20

Guests can meet select designers, create wearable florals, and enjoy tastings and cocktails in a celebratory setting that brings together the artistry and energy of the weekend.

Flower Power Hours  Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22

These hands-on workshops invite guests to create floral arrangements of their own, drawing inspiration from the installations throughout the museum.

There is something especially thoughtful at the heart of Art in Bloom. After the event concludes, Newfields will donate all of the flowers to Random Acts of Flowers Indianapolis, allowing the beauty of the weekend to continue reaching healthcare facilities throughout central Indiana.

For LINNEA, partnerships like this are about more than visibility. They are about alignment. Newfields creates space for people to encounter art and nature in ways that feel fresh, generous, and emotionally resonant. That same sense of experience lives at the center of what we make, from home fragrance to the quiet rituals that shape daily life.

We are proud to support a moment that welcomes spring with imagination, artistry, and a sense of wonder.

Art in Bloom presented by LINNEA opens at Newfields from March 19 through March 22, 2026.
